Joanies Attic produce beautiful upcycled recycled furniture and furnishings and re-loved bespoke pieces from carefully chosen antique, vintage and hand picked salvaged furniture.

Any soft furnishings and decorative items supplied are usually hand made using quality fabrics and other materials.

We were inspired by my wonderfully creative Nan. She was a whizz with a sewing machine! She tutored with a London Tailor in her late teens/early twenties and later worked for large well known high end clothing companies as well as working independently making wedding dresses, clothes and home furnishings.

Step 1 – Get In Touch

If you already have a piece of furniture you would like to be re-loved you can email me a photograph, include approximate sizes, and if you already have an idea of how you want it let us know. If there’s a specific piece of furniture you would like us to source, then just let us know. If the work is to be carried out in your own premises then basic travel costs will be included in the quote.

Step 2 – Agree the design

We can talk through the options with you, styles, colours and finishes from waxes to varnishes. The options are endless, but we always work towards a design you’ll be happy with. You’ll be given a final quote and an approximate timescale for the completion of the work. All work carried out will be unique and personal to you. Be as creative or as conservative as you like.

Step 3 – Let’s get busy!

In circumstances where the furniture is being painted away from your premises, I’ll keep you up to date with the progress by email and include photo’s as I go. Once the work has been completed we can (if it’s a small piece) arrange to deliver it back to you, or you can arrange collection yourself. All re-loved furniture will be carefully protected, but please be careful when transporting your newly re-loved items.
